Recently completed, this teardrop jack single blade was the first one of this pattern that I have made. Tony Bose graciously shares the patterns he has refined over the years and this is one of those. This knife can be made as a harness jack with a secondary punch blade.
This knife is covered with Case Antique Peachseed jigged bone and has ATS-34 blade and spring. The knife is stamped “0” for the first of a potential 10-knife series of this pattern.
Kerry, the swedge on that Tear Drop Jack is amazing!! That is the best swedge I’ve seen!! The entire knife Is AWESOME!!
Peachseed jigged Bone! WOW!! This is the entire package!!
Thanks, Jason. If you look at a lot of old knives, you will come across some great examples of bold and crisp swedge work. That is something that I try to do on every knife I make.
Beautiful knife!
Thank you. I keep trying to make the perfect knife and I suppose that’s a goal that will never be achieved.
Hi Kerry, thanks for sharing your art of knife making. It has inspired many including me. I will keep watching for more, and I hope to get a folder from you soon. Thanks again!
