Tennessee Jack Prototype

A “Tennessee Jack” is simply a Bose Lanny’s Clip with a second slightly smaller Wharncliffe blade added to the frame in a typical jack knife configuration.  The name is appropriate since Lanny Shell, A friend of Tony Bose who the Lanny’s Clip is named after, hails from Tennessee.

This is the prototype design or first one of this pattern.  It is hafted in sambar stag and has 154CM blades and springs, duo double-bomb SS pinned shields, and SS bolsters and caps.

Another great job, Kerry. Can’t wait till my name is next on your list, for one of these Tennessee Jacks, by my calculations that must be pretty soon.
I am trying to find a way to make it to the Blade, but who knows what might get in the way.

    All the best,
    Jeff Saul
