This idea is not a new one and I thank Mike
Fitzgerald for giving me the tip on what to use. The use of this method
came about in an effort to speed up the bone dyeing process, which normally
takes 3 or 4 weeks. Obviously this doesn't show the effect that
dye has on bone when it is soaked over
an extended period of time.
The following test took place on 4/26/2007. It is a
simple demonstration of how pressure can effect the absorbsion rate of
dye into
plain bone.
It is my hope
that the tools and their application will spur others towards additional
creative uses for this process and we can all learn from it.
Please be smart and be safe! If
you hurt yourself or someone else using this method to pressure treat
anything, it's your
own dang fault!
